The NCR S11 Server is a supported, value entry level server, enhanced with true
server capabilities and optional PC features. The optional PC features allow the
NCR S11 to compete in an environment where high performance PCs are used as
inexpensive servers.
The NCR S11 is an ideal server for price sensitive,
small to medium businesses looking for a reliable general-purpose server.
The NCR S11 offers the options of SCSI or IDE internal storage and Pentium
IIIT or CeleronT processors. The IDE model comes with dual integrated IDE
controllers supporting up to two IDE devices per controller. The SCSI model
comes with either a single-channel U160 SCSI adapter (29160) or an RAID
controller.
