NCR 6282 Deskside and Rack Storage Module - Superior Scalability

10 drive bays. 9GB, 18GB or 36 GB. Single RAID controller (16 MB) or no RAID controller for a JBOD environment. You can also connect a 6282 JBOD subsystem to a PCI RAID adapter mounted in the server and run a RAID from the host.

With the NCR 6282 Deskside and Rack Storage Module, you get a high-performance storage solution that meets storage requirements today with the flexibility to expand capacity and performance to meet your future needs.

the NCR 6282 Storage Module has superior scalability by allowing customers to expand their storage capacity by simply adding more drive modules. It also offers many outstanding features, including ten hot-swappable, redundant drives with capacities of 9GB, 18GB, or 36GB. Redundant fans and hot-swappable/redundant power supplies.

Further flexibility is provided through the system's two form factors - deskside or rackmount. the compact rack mount design allows one or more RAID units to be placed in an efficient, space-saving cabinet with other rack mount modules, such as nodes, UPS's, rack mount keyboard trays, and keyboard/monitor/mouse switch boxes.
